Survival Fire-Making Course (Ages 14+)

Would you be interested in a program that gets teenagers and adults excited about reading survival books like How to Stay Alive in the Woods, Bushcraft 101, and Building the Perfect Fire?

  • Time: 2 Hours
  • Limit: 20 Students
  • Program Fee: $200

Age range 14-UP. Participants 14-17 must be accompanied by an adult. I bring everything needed for the 2-hour course. I’m happy to answer any questions you might have via email or my contact info below.

NOTE: My fees cover a 50 mile radius from Crivitz, Wisconsin where I live. If you would like me to travel further I am happy to do that, but I would add $25 for each additional 50 miles to cover the extra driving expenses.

Having an understanding of fire-making skills is essential and can be a lifesaver in a wilderness survival situation. From staying warm in a shelter, creating light, purifying water, and cooking food, survival fire skills are crucial tools for cool climate environments. Anyone who spends time outdoors should be proficient at fire-making.
